The DS-7604 NI-M1 after talking with Tony from DiY Security did exactly as he said got up and running after submitting my old password and the Wizard assist. My old Hikvision NVR is ten years old and has never missed a beat except for a Ethernet Cable issue. DIY Tony has assisted me a few times and is very pleasant to deal with.
DIY Security via Tony reviewed and negotiated a fair price and installed the Hard Drive and promptly sent it and arrived 2 days after paying for the order good work Tony I say.
DIYer Hikvision technical prefer to only discuss your issues with the supplier or a Hikvision registered Installer not the end user which I consider not exactly fair as after the warranty issues are not with the supplier and as a Hikvision user I would like to see Hikvision discuss the issues with a competent DIYer and Hikvision user.

It was a pleasure doing business with DIY Security Cameras. Communication was great. They checked if it was okay to send an alternative part - but in the end did not need to. Informed me that my delivery would be in two packages, and delivery was fast.
